Meet Mike

I'm a country boy who believes that a man’s word is his bond.  I have worked in and around construction since I was in high school. I started working my way through college doing roofing and building homes in Florida during the late 60’s and early 70’s. During the summers I would work commercial construction in my home town of Mobile, Ala.  When I moved to Duncan, Ok in 1977 to teach in a Christian school I worked part time doing framing and roofing.  Later I made cabinets and worked on some of the finest homes in Duncan.  I can proudly say I have made a career of construction.

I believe that if you want someone to be a success you will teach them to work.  I teach carpentry at Tulsa Tech.  I enjoy teaching young men and women how to do carpentry. I enjoy doing home inspections in the evenings when I help the home buyers find and recognize what is right and wrong with their potential home and how to fix the problems.

I believe every inspection should be a full inspection. Why? So that you the buyer will know if something needs to be repaired before your purchase. No one likes to find out later that they made a mistake by only doing an EMP (particial) inspection.  Without inspecting the foundational structure, rafters, attic bracing, and roof, serious problems could be missed.

I take pictures of every home and use pictures to show you the problems I find.  I also write a narrative report so that you will understand when you view the  pictures.  I will send your home inspection report by e-mail so that you may view it on your computer, save it and print a copy for your reference.

Email Mike to schedule your inspection.
